18-Feb-2026
The National Building Products Coalition will be publishing its Building Product Information – Good Practice Conformity Guide for use across the industry. The launch on Feb 25 at the Building Products Industry Council Summit will outline the guide that offers practical tools and trigger prompts than can be applied directly for businesses. The Guide is a practical resource for improving transparency, accountability and confidence in building products at both the consumer and manufacturer levels.
“Lasting change requires more than regulation—it demands leadership from within the industry itself.” – BPIC, 2026
The Guide is an industry-led initiative intended to help ‘all those in the building chain succeed’. Part One focuses on specifiers and builders/installers, with key questions for product users to ask regarding conformity, and Part Two focuses on manufacturers and suppliers, with twelve key behaviours to follow.
This launch will also see the release of Version 2 of the Building Product information - Digitisation and Traceability Guide providing industry with key questions to ask regarding traceability as the industry transitions into the Digital realm.
